    Film Location Analysis

    By Kaushik Bhaumik

The song Mujhe Kuchh Tumse Hai Kehna’ begins at the Europa-Park Erlebnis (lived Experience) Park in the Valais, Switzerland, moves for a short sequence in the Europa Park in Germany to basically capture a view of the famous CanCan Coaster geodesic dome, and quickly moves on to Australia. We even have a sequence by the ocean shot in Australia but ostensibly set in Switzerland. The title song ‘Hadh Kar Di Aapne’ is shot around Rheinfall and Schlössli Woerth, and Schaffhausen, although we do not see the falls or the castle. Again, the European location is used for pictorial purposes of clean air and pristine landscapes–green meadows, snowclad mountains in the distance, clean parks with alpine trees etc. A little bit of local charm is captured in the street scenes and the Swiss flag finds prominence in many sequences of the songs.
